In another example of a restaurant being open one day and suddenly closing the next, the Shore location of celebrity chef Bobby Flay’s burger restaurant has unexpectedly closed.

The Asbury Park Press reports that just yesterday, a sign was spotted in the window of the Monmouth Mall’s location of Bobby’s Burger Palace with a simple message thanking patrons for their business. 

This is a disappointing one for me personally. I was a huge fan of their food, and Bobby’s was a favorite spot for me to meet family and friends at, and has been the traditional halfway meeting point for my mother and me for nearly the whole decade that it’s been open.
