A mainstay among Highlands restaurants is gone, Louisville Business First reports.

Café Mimosa, 1543 Bardstown Road, has a “closed” sign posted on the door. The Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine restaurant allso put the following message on its website: “Dear customers, Café Mimosa has closed. Thank you for your support through the years.”

Café Mimosa also was home to sister restaurant the Eggroll Machine.

In 2009, the business was destroyed by a fire at its then-location just down the street at 1216 Bardstown Road, but it was reopened by owner Phat Le, according to a 2009 Louisville Business First report.

There were more than 30 restaurant closures in Louisville during the first half of the year.
