Empty stores for months coupled with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic have led The Shoppes at Hamilton to close down permanently. The Shoppes, located at 537 US-130, Hamilton Township, NJ 08691, will be torn down to make way for warehouse space.

In order to make sure that the contents can be repurposed for use in other venues, the equipment, furniture, light fixtures, and more surplus items from the Shoppes at Hamilton are being auctioned online at RestaurantEquipment.bid. The auction will have a rolling close starting on Friday, July 17th at 10:00 AM (ET).

Restaurant equipment items in the auction include griddles, work stations, walk-in freezers, water fountains, exhaust hood, mirrors, televisions, counters, and display cases. Non-foodservice items include check-in counter desks, furniture, wall-mounted lights, chandeliers, track lighting, sinks, toilets, and other bathroom fixtures, hot water heater, fans, and racking units.

Auctions like this allow for other operators to obtain equipment at much lower costs, while ensuring that these items are not put into a landfill. RestaurantEquipment.Bid is a marketplace for used and overstocked restaurant equipment. The starting bid for all items is $1 with no reserves.
